OPERATION DETECTOR AND OPERATION DETECTION METHOD

To detect an operation of an object person on the basis of sound of a digestive system in which noise is suppressed.SOLUTION: An operation detector 1 comprises: a junction sound acquisition part 11 for acquiring sound in the vicinity of a gullet-stomach junction J of an object person O; a junction sound detection part 12 for detecting prescribed biological sound on the basis of the sound acquired by the junction sound acquisition part 11; and an operation detection part 13 for detecting an operation of the object person O on the basis of the biological sound detected by the junction sound detection part 12. The junction sound acquisition part 11 may acquire sound detected by a microphone which is attached to the vicinity of a xiphisternum of the object person O.
