FLASH DRYER, AND CLEANING METHOD

To provide a flash dryer that can easily and thoroughly be cleaned.SOLUTION: The flash dryer dries a treating object by allowing the treating object to flow with drying gas. The flash dryer comprises a container, a lid, and a partition unit. The container comprises an opening for letting its inner space be exposed to the outside, and allows the treating object and the drying gas to flow in the inner space. The lid is provided in a manner capable of opening/closing the opening. The partition unit is disposed in the container to partition the inner space of the container so as to form a channel through which the treating object and the drying gas flow.
