Zusammenfassung:To improve the durability of an apparatus comprising a belt having a conductive layer for forming an inner peripheral surface.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprising an endless belt, the belt having a base layer and a conductive layer located on an inner peripheral surface side of the belt compared with the base layer and forming an inner peripheral surface. The conductive layer contains a binder resin, a conductive agent, and a copper compound, and has a surface resistivity of 5.0×106 Ω/sq or less.
