To predict an abnormality of a molded article due to unsealed gates.SOLUTION: An abnormality prediction system is provided with a molding device for molding a molded article, and an abnormality prediction device for predicting an abnormality of the molded article. The molding device has: a mold part formed with a cavity inside and having a gate that opens to the cavity; an injection part that performs a filling operation for filling the cavity with a molten molding material via the gate, a pressure keeping operation for keeping a pressure of the molding material filled in the cavity, and a kept-pressure releasing operation for releasing the kept pressure of the molding material; and a plurality of pressure sensors for detecting pressures of the molding material in the cavity at positions which differ in distance between the cavity itself and the gate.
