Zusammenfassung:To provide a high-hardness abrasion-resistant member that has high hardness and is superior in abrasion resistance, and also superior in adhesion between a base material and a hard coating film, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the high-hardness abrasion-resistant member.SOLUTION: A high-hardness abrasion-resistant member has a base material and a coating film, which has a host phase made of a material including a solid solution containing Ni and Fe, and a hard layer composed of a material including WC crystal particles, and supported by the host phase.
