RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR FENDER AND FENDER USING THEREWITH

To provide a rubber composition for a fender allowing to manufacture the fender with bearing leg parts easy to cause buckling deformation due to aboardage of a vessel at further inexpensive cost, and the fender using therewith.SOLUTION: In a rubber composition for a fender, carbon black is blended which has a blending amount Q [g] of 65-80 g per 100 g of the rubber and satisfies a range of 1,500-5,000 m2 of a total surface area T [m2] expressed by a product of the blending amount Q [g] and a nitrogen adsorbing specific surface area S [m2/g].
