To provide a traverse device of a multistory parking device with a simple structure that is lightweight.SOLUTION: A multistory parking device 10 comprises: a carriage 13 carrying a pallet 18 and ascending/descending a hoistway 11; and a horizontal device 25 for laterally moving the pallet 18 between a parking room 17 and the carriage 13.
