POWER GENERATING SYSTEM

To determine an abnormality in a heat exchanger for exhaust heat treatment that exchanges heat between exhaust heat from a power generator and a heat exchange liquid by a simple configuration in a power generating system equipped with a heat exchanger for exhaust heat treatment.SOLUTION: A power generating system includes a tank that is incorporated into a heat exchange liquid circulation path, stores a heat exchange liquid, and has an air opening at the top, a liquid level sensor that detects the liquid level in the tank, and a determination unit that determines whether an abnormality has occurred in the heat exchanger for exhaust heat treatment.
