To provide a cover member which can accurately suppress or prevent dazzling or discomfort feeling due to reflected light when sunlight incidents thereon.SOLUTION: A cover member 1 is installed and used so as to cover a window part of a storage body that stores a light source emitting light and has a window part emitting light from the light source toward the outside. The cover member 1 has a polarization layer 2 composed of a polarizer, further has at least one of a first resin layer 3A that is provided on one surface of the polarization layer 2 and is mainly composed of a polycarbonate resin, and a second resin layer 3B that is provided on the other surface of the polarization layer 2 and is mainly composed of a polycarbonate resin, and when the cover member 1 is irradiated with light having a predetermined wavelength and reflected light including regular reflection light is detected, reflectance of light of a wavelength of 555 nm is 10.0% or less, and satisfies a relational expression of A2+B2+C2≤1.0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】太陽光等が入射した際の反射光により眩しく感じたり、違和感を覚えたりするのを、的確に抑制または防止することができるカバー部材を提供すること。【解決手段】カバー部材１は、光を発する光源を収納し、光源からの光が外部に向かって出射される窓部を有する収納体の窓部を覆うように設置して使用されるものである。このカバー部材１は、偏光子で構成された偏光層２を備え、さらに、偏光層２の一方の面に設けられ、主としてポリカーボネート樹脂で構成された第１樹脂層３Ａと、偏光層２の他方の面に設けられ、主としてポリカーボネート樹脂で構成された第２樹脂層３Ｂとのうちの少なくとも一方を備え、カバー部材１に対して所定の波長を有する光を照射し正反射光を含む反射光を検出したとき、波長５５５ｎｍの光の反射率が１０．０％以下であり、かつ、Ａ２＋Ｂ２＋Ｃ２≦ １．０の関係式を満足する。【選択図】図３
