Zusammenfassung: | To provide a coating roller that improves productivity, reduces costs, and sufficiently achieves fixing of a coating; and to provide service life detection means thereof.SOLUTION: A rotor on which a coating is coated has an area where an insertion member is inserted inside the rotor through the coating. Due to thermal contraction in a radial direction of the coating caused by heating after a length of the coating, in a width (axial) direction, is made to be longer than a rotor width on which the coating is coated and the coating is projected from the rotor, or due to contraction of the coating after the coating is made longer than the rotor width where the coating having stretchability at least in a radial direction, the rotor is coated, and the coating is projected from the rotor, the roller, which is formed such that an inner circumferential length of end part of the coating in the area projected from the rotor is the same as or shorter than an inner circumferential length no an inner diameter of the rotor, the coating in the projection portion is folded inside the rotor, the insertion member is inserted inside the rotor through the coating at least in press-fit conditions, and the coating is held on a surface of the rotor, and which integrates at least the rotor, the coating and the insertion member, is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
