Zusammenfassung:To provide an electric power steering device capable of achieving dimensional stability by forming a resin tooth of a driven gear from predetermined environment-friendly polyamide resin composition and capable of concurrently maintaining excellent fatigue resistance and achieving high reliability together with maintained lubricity by using grease using poly-α-olefin oil as base oil.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device, structured to transmit an auxiliary power by an electric motor 39 to a steering mechanism of a vehicle through a driving gear 11 and a driven gear 9 constituting a reduction gear mechanism 13 and using the driven gear 9 having a resin tooth 3 on an outer-peripheral surface, has the resin tooth 3 constituted of a polyamide resin composition comprised of polyamide 56 resin and reinforcement material with a content of 10-40 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】従動歯車の樹脂歯を、環境にやさしい所定のポリアミド樹脂組成物で形成し、寸法安定性を達成すると共に、優れた耐疲労性を維持し、ポリα-オレフィン油を基油とするグリースを用いても、潤滑性の維持を両立した、高信頼性を有する電動パワーステアリング装置を提供する。【解決手段】電動モータ39による補助動力を、減速歯車機構13を構成する駆動歯車11と従動歯車9を介して車両のステアリング機構に伝達するように構成され、前記従動歯車9が外周面に樹脂歯3を有する電動パワーステアリング装置において、前記樹脂歯3を、ポリアミド56樹脂と、含有量10~40重量%とした強化材と、からなるポリアミド樹脂組成物で形成する。【選択図】図3
