ANAMMOX BACTERIUM GROUP HOLDING CARRIER, ANAMMOX BACTERIUM GROUP ADHERING OBJECT, AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT DEVICE

To provide an anammox bacterium group holding carrier which shortens a start-up time period, enabling an increase in the speed of nitrogen treatment, and to provide an anammox bacterium group adhering object and a wastewater treatment device.SOLUTION: An anammox bacterium group holding carrier 10 comprises: a plurality of cells 12 which have an average cell diameter of 700 μm or more and 1500 μm or less; and a communicating pore 14 which is provided in the cells 12 and has a diameter of 500 μm or less and which brings the cells 12 into communication with each other. The anammox bacterium group holding carrier has a porosity of 85% or more and 95% or less.
