Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for manufacturing an optical member which is excellent in mold transferability, has a desired shape, suppresses surface roughness of an optical surface and is excellent in surface smoothness.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an optical member using an injection molding device 10 having an injection unit 20 composed of a cylinder 22 and a screw 24, a cavity 36 for molding an optical member having an optical surface, and a mold 30 having a gate 38 as an injection port of a molten resin from the injection unit 20 into the cavity 36, includes a step of melting a resin composition containing a copolymer of ethylene or α-olefin and cyclic olefin using the screw 24 in the cylinder 22, and injecting the molten resin composition into the cavity 36 through the gate 38, in which a ratio b/a of an injection ratio b (cm3/sec) of the resin composition in the cavity 36 to an injection ratio a (cm3/sec) of the resin composition when passing through the gate 38 is 1.5 to 6.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】金型転写性に優れており、所望の形状を有するとともに光学面の表面荒れが抑制され表面平滑性に優れた光学部材の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】シリンダー22およびスクリュー24からなる射出ユニット20と、光学面を有する光学部材を成形するためのキャビティー36、および射出ユニット20からキャビティー36内への溶融樹脂の射出口となるゲート38を有する金型30とを備える射出成形装置10を用いた光学部材の製造方法であって、シリンダー22内でスクリュー24を用いてエチレンまたはα-オレフィンと環状オレフィンとの共重合体を含む樹脂組成物を溶融するとともに、溶融した樹脂組成物をゲート38を介してキャビティー36内に射出注入する工程とを含み、ゲート38を通過する際の樹脂組成物の射出率a(cm3/秒)に対する、キャビティー36内の前記樹脂組成物の射出率b(cm3/秒)の比b/aが、1.5~6.5である。【選択図】図1
