Zusammenfassung:	To provide a base coating composition capable of considering an environment such as shortening of a drying period, and forming a base coating which is excellent in design properties (unevenness of brilliant pigment and the like), adhesion property and water proof property, and a coated object obtained therefrom.SOLUTION: A base coating composition comprises: (A) a pigment; (B) a hydroxy group-containing acryl resin; (C) a block isocyanate compound; (D) polymer cross-linked fine particles which are insoluble and stably dispersed in a solution of (B) the hydroxy group-containing acryl resin; and an acrylic resin (E) which has a weight average molecular weight different from that of the hydroxy group-containing acryl resin (B), in which, the specific hydroxy group-containing acryl resin (B) is used and a viscosity recovery ratio is adjusted. There is also provided a coated object formed by using the base coating composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明は乾燥時間の短縮などの環境への配慮を満足しつつ、意匠性（光輝性顔料のムラなどを）、密着性及び耐水性に優れたベース塗膜を形成することができるベース塗料組成物およびそれから得られる塗装物品を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、顔料（Ａ）と、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂（Ｂ）と、ブロックイソシアネート化合物（Ｃ）と、前記水酸基含有アクリル樹脂（Ｂ）溶液中に不溶性で安定に分散している重合体架橋微粒子（Ｄ）と、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂（Ｂ）とは異なる重量平均分子量を有するアクリル樹脂（Ｅ）と、を含むベース塗料組成物であって、特定の水酸基含有アクリル樹脂（Ｂ）を用い、かつ粘度回復率を調整したものを提供する。本発明はベース塗料組成物を用いて形成された塗装物品も提供する。【選択図】なし
