Zusammenfassung:	To provide an intelligent medium profile management method, a system, and a storage medium for managing information on various paper media and improving the quality of printing performed by a printer.SOLUTION: A management system 101 of a paper catalog 10 stores, in one or more computer storage devices 102, a paper catalog including recording of measuring paper having color information and a color management profile and standard paper having color information but not having a color management profile, and according to the color information in the standard paper selected by a user and color preference of the user, causes one or more processors 104 to correlate one piece of the measuring paper with the standard paper, and outputs color management profile for the correlated measuring paper for printing on the standard paper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A 【課題】様々な紙媒体についての情報を管理してプリンタによる印刷の品質を高めるインテリジェントな媒体プロファイル管理方法、システム及び記憶媒体を提供する。【解決手段】紙カタログ１０の管理システム１０１は、色情報と色管理プロファイルを有する測定紙と、色情報を有するが色管理プロファイルを有しない標準紙の記録を含む紙カタログを、１以上のコンピュータ記憶装置１０２に格納し、ユーザが選択した標準紙の色情報とユーザの色選好に従って、１以上のプロセッサ１０４により、標準紙に測定紙の１つを相関させて、その相関した測定紙の色管理プロファイルを標準紙の印刷のためにする。【選択図】図１Ａ
