Zusammenfassung:To provide a simple, electrochemical method of charging hydrogen, which is applicable over a wide electrolyte temperature range from the room temperature to low temperature and enables hydrogen charging without damaging a sample surface even when the sample is made of a metallic material that is highly reactive to water.SOLUTION: A hydrogen charging method is provided, comprising: immersing a metal sample in an electrolyte composed of alcohol containing an alkali metal ion; and forming an electric circuit for supplying electrons to the metal sample in the electrolyte and allowing the electrons to escape from a surface of the metal sample so as to generate hydrogen at the surface of the metal sample and electrochemically charge the metal sample with hydrogen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】常温から低温までの広い電解液温度範囲に適用可能であり、水との反応性が高い金属材料からなる試料であっても、試料表面を侵さずに水素チャージすることができる、簡易な電気化学的手法を用いた水素チャージ方法を提供する。【解決手段】アルカリ金属イオンを含有するアルコールからなる電解液に金属試料を浸漬する工程と、前記電解液中で前記金属試料に電子が供給され、前記金属試料の表面から前記電子が抜ける電気回路を形成することで、前記金属試料の表面で水素を発生させて、前記金属試料に電気化学的に水素をチャージする工程と、を有する水素チャージ方法。【選択図】図1
