WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

To allow a base station side to quickly recognize communication failure due to breakage of a leaky coaxial cable in a wireless communication system in which the leaky coaxial cable is used for communication between a plurality of a base stations and mobile stations.SOLUTION: Control units 11A and 11B cause transmission units 12A and 12B to generate and transmit an A-series signal and a B-series signal based on transmission data, respectively. The A-series signal passes through an LCX50A and an LCX50B as indicated by a dashed arrow A. The B-series signal passes through the LCX50B and the LCX50A as indicated by a dashed arrow B. The B-series signal passes through the LCX50A and then flows to a base station 10A side, and the control unit 11A recognizes that the B-series signal has flowed via the LCX50B and 50A. When the LCX50A is disconnected, the base station 10A side cannot receive the B-series signal.
