ORAL CAVITY FLORA IMPROVING/MAINTAINING AGENT, PLAQUE/TARTAR REMOVING AGENT, AND TARTAR FORMATION PREVENTIVE AGENT

To solve the problems that: a state of oral cavity flora influences not only a health state in an oral cavity but also intestinal flora; aggravation of the intestinal flora is related to depression besides various diseases and autoimmune diseases; and an oral cavity biofilm causes a problem since a balance of the oral cavity flora is disturbed by formation or long-time presence of the oral cavity biofilm.SOLUTION: An oral cavity flora improving/maintaining agent of this invention including a bark extract of acacia as an active principle, maintains a favorable balance of oral cavity flora by lowering a formation rate of an oral cavity biofilm or disengaging bacteria constituting the biofilm from the biofilm, thereby inhibiting multiplication of gram-negative bacteria or removing the gram-negative bacteria together with other bacteria.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】口腔内フローラの状態は、単に口腔内の健康状態を左右するものではなく、腸内フローラにも影響を及ぼす。腸内フローラの悪化は様々な疾患、自己免疫疾患のほか、うつ病などに関与している。口腔内フローラのバランスは口腔内バイオフィルムの形成や長期存在により崩れるため、口腔内バイオフィルムが課題となっている。【解決手段】口腔内バイオフィルムの形成率を低下させたり、バイオフィルムを構成する菌類をバイオフィルムから遊離させたりすることで、結果としてグラム陰性菌の増殖を抑制したり、他の菌と相まってグラム陰性菌を除去することで、口腔内フローラが良好なバランスでいられるようにするため、アカシアの樹皮抽出物を有効成分とする口腔内フローラ改善・維持剤を提供する。【選択図】図４
