PAPER CONTAINER AND PAPERBOARD BASE PAPER

To provide a paper container having little forming imperfection and a paperboard base paper causing little forming imperfection.SOLUTION: A paper container 10 that is formed only by press forming from a single piece of paperboard base paper includes bottom portions 12a and 12b, a side wall portion 13 connected so as to surround each of the bottom portions 12a and 12b, storage portions 14a and 14b formed by the bottom portions 12a and 12b and the side wall portion 13, a partition portion 15 that is connected to the side wall portion 13 on an inner side of the side wall portion 13, is connected to each of the bottom portions 12a and 12b to stand up, and divides an inner side of the side wall 13 into the bottom portions 12a and 12b and into the storage portions 14a and 14b, and folded portions 17a and 17b formed in the vicinity of the connection points 16a and 16b between the partition portion 15 and the side wall portion 13.
