Zusammenfassung:To make pellets with a low defect rate by cutting heat resistant thermoplastic.SOLUTION: Heat-resistant thermoplastic resin is heated above its glass transition temperature to a molten state and extruded through a die having a plurality of pores, and method for producing pellets of heat-resistant thermoplastic resin, comprising a cutting process in which the heat-resistant thermoplastic resin in a molten state extruded from the pores is cut by a plurality of rotating blades and fed into cooling water. The rotating blades are formed from steel having a Rockwell hardness (HRC) of 62 or greater.
