To provide a tape type disposable diaper which allows a wearer to freely move a thigh when being worn to a waist of the wearer, and easily secures fitness on the waist of the wearer.SOLUTION: There is provided a tape type disposable diaper 1, the disposable diaper has: a front side part 3; a rear side part 5; and a crotch part 4 arranged therebetween. The rear side part 5 is wider than the crotch part 4. A rear side extension part 6 of the rear side part 5 provided at outside of the crotch part 4 in a width direction x, has notch shapes 7 whose front side edge becomes rearward salient.
