WRITING INSTRUMENT

To provide a writing instrument that can change the density or hue of writing lines while writing by injecting different inks with different densities or hues from a pen tip side using an operation unit and an injection mechanism provided in the writing instrument, and can determine a writing history or the like.SOLUTION: A writing instrument A includes: a pen tip 30 that can hold the ink in an impregnated state; a barrel member 10 that holds the pen tip 30 in a protruding state at a tip portion; an ink holder 20 provided in the barrel member 10 and capable of distributing the ink to and from the pen tip 30; and a cap 40 surrounding the pen tip 30.
