Zusammenfassung: | To provide an electrolytic capacitor improved in the connectability between a negative electrode body including a carbon layer and a lead terminal, and a method for manufacturing the electrolytic capacitor.SOLUTION: An electrolytic capacitor 1 comprises: an anode body 2 with a dielectric oxide coating 5 formed on its surface; a cathode body 3 having cathode foil 31 and a carbon layer 32 formed on the cathode foil 31; a liquid electrolyte 6 interposed between the anode body 2 and the cathode body 3; and lead terminals 7 cold pressure welded to the anode body 2 and the cathode body 3. The maximum static friction coefficient of the surface of the carbon layer 32 of the cathode body 3 is 0.6 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
