Zusammenfassung: | To provide a manufacturing method for an imaging module which is highly reliable for object detection at the thermosetting of an adhesive in order to attach a lens barrel to a housing.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for an imaging module 1, which includes a step for fixing, to a housing 9, a lens barrel 4 for holding a lens at least using the adhesive to be hardened with thermal treatment, a through hole 10 which connects between the outer surface and the inner surface of the housing 9 is formed on a part of the housing 9. The fixing step includes the steps of: applying the adhesive to the periphery of an attachment part formed on the housing 9 to attach the lens barrel 4; joining the lens barrel 4 to the housing 9 through the applied adhesive; hardening the adhesive by thermal treating the housing 9 joined to the lens barrel 4; and attaching a sealing member 11 to the housing 9, having the lens barrel 4 fixed thereto, in a manner to cover the opening of the through hole 10 on the outer surface of the housing 9, so as to seal the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
