Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for promoting growth of plant by administration of photosynthetic bacterium in which labor and cost related to administration are reduced.SOLUTION: The seed of a plant (eg, unhulled rice seed) is soaked in a suspension of un-crushed dead bacterium of photosynthetic bacterium prior to sowing. Thereby, the amount of photosynthetic bacterium used and the labor involved in the administration can be reduced as compared with the conventional administration by foliar spraying, irrigation to the root, or pouring into paddy field. Further, by administering the photosynthetic bacterium in a dead state and yet without crushing, the preparation of the suspension becomes easy, and also the storage and transportation of the suspension before administration become easy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】光合成細菌の投与による植物の成長促進方法において、投与に係る手間やコストを低減する。【解決手段】植物の種子(例えば、イネの種もみ)を、播種前に光合成細菌の破砕されていない死菌の懸濁液に浸漬する。これにより、従来の葉面散布、根元への灌注、又は水田への流し込み等による投与に比べて、光合成細菌の使用量や投与に係る労力を抑えることができる。また、光合成細菌を死菌の状態で、なお且つ破砕せずに投与することにより、前記懸濁液の調製が容易となり、且つ投与前における当該懸濁液の保管及び輸送も容易となる。【選択図】図1
