Zusammenfassung:	To provide a nonwoven fabric excellent in antislip properties, a production method thereof, and a backing material for a mat, made of the nonwoven fabric.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric contains a non-thermal melting fiber and a thermal melting fiber. The weight ratio between the non-thermal melting fiber and the thermal melting fiber (non-thermal melting fiber/thermal melting fiber) is 0.01/99.99 to 30/70. A protruded lump of resin covered with a melted and solidified material made of the non-thermal melting fiber and the thermal melting fiber, having a sectional length of 0.30 mm or more, is present at least on one side of the nonwoven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明は、滑り防止性に優れた不織布及びその製造方法、並びに前記不織布を用いたマット用裏材を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】非熱溶融繊維と熱溶融繊維とを含み、非熱溶融繊維と熱溶融繊維の重量比（非熱溶融繊維／熱溶融繊維）が、０．０１／９９．９９～３０／７０であり、前記非熱溶融繊維が前記熱溶融繊維の溶融固化物で覆われた断面長さが０．３０ｍｍ以上である突起状樹脂塊が少なくとも片面に存在している不織布。【選択図】図１
