To provide a question answering device that can efficiently store a set of an unanswered question sentence and an answer sentence in a database.SOLUTION: A question answering device 1 of the present disclosure includes: a dialogue log processing unit 112 that extracts a question sentence of a user from dialogue log data with the user; and a similarity degree determination unit 114 that determines whether or not a similarity degree between the question sentence of the user and pre-stored question sentences is lower than a predetermined standard. The question answering device 1 includes a frequency determination unit 115 that determines whether or not a frequency of the question sentence of the user in the question sentences included in the dialogue log data is higher than a predetermined standard.
