VENTILATION SYSTEM AND VENTILATION METHOD

To provide a ventilation system and a ventilation method capable of preventing or suppressing arrival of a splash that may occur in conversation between customers facing each other with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A ventilation system includes: a plate or a base; an air supply unit that is provided with a plurality of air supply nozzles disposed on the plate, above the plate, or inside the plate, or on the base, above the base, or inside the base and supplies air having a larger cross section toward an upper side from the air supply nozzle; and an exhaust unit that is disposed above the air supply nozzle and has at least one exhaust port that opens toward the plate or the base.
