Zusammenfassung:To provide a technique for increasing estimation precision of a self position as much as possible.SOLUTION: A moving body traveling on a first plane within a three-dimensional space includes: a measuring device; a travel distance measurement part; a conversion part; a position estimation part; and an optical element. The measuring device includes a second plane as a scanning surface, acquires reflection light by successively emitting light while changing an angle on the scanning surface, and measures a distance to a reflection point for each angle. The travel distance measurement part measures a travel distance of the moving body. The conversion part converts each output value from the measuring device expressed in a two-dimensional coordinate system to a three-dimensional coordinate value by using a predetermined conversion expression. The position estimation part collates each three-dimensional coordinate value after conversion with map data, and successively outputs position information for showing a position and posture of the moving body on the first plane on the basis of a collation result. The optical element changes an advance direction of partial light emitted into a predetermined angle range θref from the measuring device from among light on the second plane emitted from the measuring device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9A 【課題】自己位置の推定精度をできるだけ高くするための技術を提供する。【解決手段】3次元空間内の第1平面上を移動する移動体は、計測装置と、移動量計測部と、変換部と、位置推定部と、光学素子とを有する。計測装置は、第2平面をスキャン面として有し、スキャン面上で角度を変えながら次々と光を出射して反射光を取得し、角度ごとに反射点までの距離を測定する。移動量計測部は、移動体の移動量を計測する。変換部は、2次元座標系で表現された計測装置からの各出力値を、所定の変換式を用いて、3次元座標値に変換する。位置推定部は、変換後の各3次元座標値と地図データとを照合して、照合結果に基づき第1平面上の移動体の位置および姿勢を示す位置情報を順次出力する。光学素子は、計測装置から出射される第2平面上の光のうち、計測装置から所定の角度範囲θref内に出射される一部の光の進む方向を変化させる。【選択図】図9A
