PROTECTOR

To provide a protector that can easily attach a cap to a wire insertion opening after assembling a protector body and a cover, and can surely prevent the cap from falling off from the wire insertion opening.SOLUTION: A protector 10 includes a protector body 11 that has an opening 14 on one surface 11a side and accommodates an electric wire inside, a cover 20 that covers the opening 14, and a cap 30 that closes a wire insertion opening 16 formed between the protector body 11 and the cover 20 after assembling the cover 20 to the protector body 11. The protector body 11 and the cover 20 each have protruding protrusions 15 and 23 protruding inward from each other at opposite positions near the wire insertion opening 16, and the cap 30 forms a spring portion 32 that can elastically deform a locking portion 33 that engages with the protrusions 15 and 23 in the diameter reduction direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】プロテクタ本体とカバーの組付け後に、電線挿通用開口にキャップを容易に取付けることができ、かつ、電線挿通用開口からのキャップの脱落を確実に防止することができるプロテクタを提供する。【解決手段】一面１１ａ側に開口１４を有し、内部に電線を収容するプロテクタ本体１１と、開口１４を覆うカバー２０と、プロテクタ本体１１にカバー２０を組付けた後にプロテクタ本体１１とカバー２０との間で形成される電線挿通用開口１６を塞ぐキャップ３０と、を備えたプロテクタ１０であって、プロテクタ本体１１及びカバー２０は、電線挿通用開口１６付近の相対向する位置で互いに内側に突出する突状の凸部１５，２３をそれぞれ有し、キャップ３０は、凸部１５，２３と係合するロック部３３を縮径方向に弾性変形可能なバネ部３２に形成した。【選択図】図４
