To provide a detention device which can be stably detained on a body surface of an organism.SOLUTION: A detention device 10 includes a body 14, a body-side attachment sheet 42, and a plate-like intermediate member 50 configured in an elastically deformable manner and laminated between the body 14 and the body-side attachment sheet 42. The intermediate member 50 includes a base 52, and a center piece 56 and an arm piece 58 extending from the base 52 in parallel with each other. The intermediate member 50 is fastened to the body-side attachment sheet 42 over the center piece 56 from the base 52, and fastened to the body 14 over the arm piece 58 from the base 52.
