Zusammenfassung:To provide a wick capable of enhancing cooling efficiency of an evaporator.SOLUTION: A wick that is provided inside an evaporator of a loop type heat pipe comprising the evaporator that receives heat from the outside and evaporates working fluid from a liquid phase to a gas phase, and a condenser that condenses the working fluid of the gas phase discharged from the evaporator into the liquid phase, and through which the working fluid of the liquid phase penetrates, is a porous body such as foamed silicone rubber. The porous body is subjected to hydrophilic treatment such as plasma treatment to the inside, to maximize a ratio of oxygen element in the elemental composition of the surface of voids such as bubbles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】蒸発器の冷却効率を高めることができるウィックを提供する。【解決手段】外部からの熱を受けて作動流体を液相から気相へと蒸発させる蒸発器と、蒸発器から排出された気相の作動流体を液相へと凝縮させる凝縮器とを備えたループ型ヒートパイプの蒸発器の内部に設けられ、液相の作動流体が浸透するウィックは、発泡シリコーンゴムなどの多孔質体である。この多孔質体に対して、プラズマ処理などの親水処理を内部まで行って、気泡などの空隙の表面の元素組成において、酸素元素の比率を最も高くしている。【選択図】図5
