To provide a gasket capable of realizing appropriate sealing performance just as designed, and having high assembling performance.SOLUTION: A gasket 1 made of an elastic body for sealing between one member 2 and the other member 3 joined in opposition thereto includes; a gasket main body 10 disposed in a manner of being fitted to a groove 20 formed on the one member; and flange portions 100, 100 formed in a manner of projecting from both side portions of the gasket main body in a groove width direction. The gasket main body has: flat-shaped portions 11 formed along flat-shaped surfaces 21; an arc-shaped portion 12 formed along an arc-shaped surface 22; and angular portions 13 where the flat-shaped portion and the arc-shaped portion cross with each other.
