To provide an image forming device that can achieve both downsizing of the device and high-speed conveyance of an object.SOLUTION: An image forming device 101 comprises, as conveyance passages through which paper is conveyed, an upstream-side conveyance passage 71, an intermediate conveyance passage 72 connected through a first bent part 70A to an end part at a downstream side of the upstream-side conveyance passage 71, and a downstream-side conveyance passage 73 connected through a second bent part 70B to the intermediate conveyance passage 72. Inside a bent inside of the first bent part 70A is provided a friction reducing part 70A that can come into contact with the paper being conveyed through the first bent part 70A.
