Zusammenfassung:To provide a front vehicle body structure for a vehicle that is able to securely transmit a collision load to a crash can and a front frame by suppressing buckling of a bumper beam in the event of small overlap collision.SOLUTION: A bending rigidity at each position in a vehicle width direction of a bumper beam 5 is set so that a bending moment that may be caused in the bumper beam 5 in the event that a collision load toward the rear of the vehicle is input to an extension part 12 extending further outside in the vehicle width direction than a crash can fixing part 11 is highest at an inside end 13 in the vehicle width direction of the crush can fixing part 11 on the side where the collision load is input and so that this moment continuously decreases as it moves apart in the vehicle width direction from the inside end 13 in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】スモールオーバーラップ衝突時においてバンパービームが座屈することを抑制してクラッシュカンおよびフロントフレームへ衝突荷重を確実に伝達することが可能な車両の前部車体構造を提供する。【解決手段】バンパービーム5の車幅方向の各位置における曲げ剛性は、クラッシュカン固定部11よりも車幅方向外側に延びる延長部12に車両後方に向かう衝突荷重が入力された際にバンパービーム5に生じる曲げモーメントが、衝突荷重が入力された側のクラッシュカン固定部11の車幅方向内側端部13で最も高く、車幅方向内側端部13から車幅方向に離れるにしたがって当該曲げモーメントが連続的に低下するように、設定されている。【選択図】図2
