Zusammenfassung:	To provide a base material carrier device capable of restraining wrinkles that can be caused in an uncoated part when carrying a belt-like base material having a coated part coated with a coating liquid and an uncoated part not coated with the coating liquid in the width direction.SOLUTION: A base material carrier device for carrying a belt-like base material having a coated part coated with a coating liquid in a portion thereof in the width direction from upstream to downstream in a longer direction of the base material, includes: a plurality of carrier rolls for carrying the base material with application of a prescribed tension thereto; and at least one pushing roll which is arranged at an interval from a prescribed carrier roll on the upstream side relative to the prescribed carrier roll and is pushed against the base material. The pushing roll is positioned so as to face an uncoated part not coated with the coating liquid in the width direction of the base material being carried by the carrier roll, and is configured to press the base material by being pushed against the base material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】塗工液が塗工された塗工部と塗工液が塗工されていない非塗工部とを幅方向に有する帯状の基材を搬送する際に、非塗工部に生じる虞のあるしわを抑制することができる基材搬送装置を提供する。【解決手段】塗工液が塗工された塗工部を幅方向の一部に有する帯状の基材を基材の長尺方向に向かって上流から下流へ搬送する基材搬送装置であって、基材に所定の張力を加えて搬送する複数の搬送ロールと、所定の前記搬送ロールよりも上流側で所定の前記搬送ロールと間隔をあけて設けられ、基材に押し当てられる少なくとも一つの押し当てロールとを有し、前記押し当てロールは、前記搬送ロールにより搬送される基材の前記幅方向における塗工液が塗工されていない非塗工部と対向するように配置され、基材に押し当てられて基材を押圧する構成とする。【選択図】図３
