Zusammenfassung:	To provide a handrail device, a base, handrails, and columns allowing possibility of a stumble while a user walks to be reduced.SOLUTION: A handrail device 1 is provided with a base 11, columns 12 projected upward from the base 11, and handrails 13 each of which is supported by one of the columns 12. The base 11 comprises a plate-like plate 101 and an edge part 102 arranged on at lease one part of a peripheral edge part 111 of the plate 101.
