FABRIC SPREADER

To achieve reduction in cost price of a negative pressure source and a fabric spreader and/or reduction of power consumption of the negative pressure source during an operation of the fabric spreader.SOLUTION: A fabric spreader has a spreading portion having a spreading clamp to spread an upper side part of an inserted fabric in a lateral direction, an intermediate moving body, which receives the fabric from the spreading clamp, adsorbs and holds the upper side part of the fabric on a top face at an advanced position, and releases the upper side of the fabric while moving backward from the position, and an unloading portion having a belt conveyor that receives the upper side part of the fabric released by the intermediate moving body and unloads the entire fabric backward. The unloading portion has many sucking holes dispersedly disposed across a lateral direction range corresponding to at least a set maximum lateral direction width of the upper side part of the fabric on the top face of the intermediate moving body, a negative pressure source that sucks out air inside the intermediate moving body to form a negative pressure area, and adsorption power maintaining means to maintain adsorption power of the sucking holes regardless of whether the lateral direction width of the upper side part of the fabric is wide or narrow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】負圧源ひいては布類展張装置の原価の低廉化および／または布類展張装置の稼働中の負圧源の消費電力の削減を達成することにある。【解決手段】布類展張装置が、投入された布類の上辺部を左右方向に展張する展張クランプを有する展張部と、前進位置で展張クランプから受け取って上面上に吸着保持した布類の上辺部をそこから後退移動しながら解放する中間移動体およびその中間移動体が解放した布類の上辺部を受け取って布類の全体を後方に搬出するベルトコンベヤを有する搬出部とを備え、その搬出部が、中間移動体の上面に少なくとも布類の上辺部の設定最大左右方向幅に対応する左右方向範囲に亘って分散配置された多数の吸引孔と、中間移動体の内部の空気を吸い出してそこに負圧領域を形成する負圧源と、吸引孔の吸着力を布類の上辺部の左右方向幅の広狭にかかわらず維持する吸着力維持手段とを有する。【選択図】図３
