Zusammenfassung:To provide a saddle riding vehicle capable of enhancing anti-theft performance of a communication while attaining miniaturization of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A saddle riding vehicle includes an exterior cover that covers one flank of a head tube, a support member, a communication apparatus, a holder, and an engine control unit. The support member is made of a resin, disposed inside the exterior cover, and fixed to a vehicle body frame. The communication apparatus is disposed between the exterior cover and the support member, and can communicate with a portable communication terminal. The holder is made of a resin, opens inward in a vehicle width direction, is fixed to the support member so as to cover the surrounding of the communication apparatus inside the exterior cover, and retains the communication apparatus. The engine control unit is disposed between the communication apparatus and the support member. Dimensions corresponding to a vehicle width direction of the communication apparatus and the engine control unit respectively are smaller than dimensions corresponding to a vehicular fore-and-aft direction and a vehicular vertical direction. The communication apparatus overlaps with the engine control unit when seen from a flank of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】乗鞍型車両において、車両のコンパクト化を図りつつ、通信装置の盗難防止性能の向上を図る。【解決手段】鞍乗型車両は、ヘッドパイプの一側方を覆う外装カバーと、支持部材と、通信装置と、ホルダと、エンジン制御ユニットとを備える。支持部材は、樹脂製であり、外装カバーの内側に配置され、車体フレームに固定される。通信装置は、外装カバーと支持部材の間に配置され、携帯通信端末と通信可能である。ホルダは、樹脂製であり、車幅方向内側に向かって開口し、外装カバーの内側で通信装置の周囲を覆うように支持部材に固定され、通信装置を保持する。エンジン制御ユニットは、通信装置と支持部材の間に配置される。通信装置及びエンジン制御ユニットの車幅方向に対応する寸法は、車両前後方向及び車両上下方向に対応する寸法よりも小さい。通信装置は、車両側面視でエンジン制御ユニットを重なる。【選択図】図3
