Zusammenfassung:To provide a storage device capable of properly cooling a battery.SOLUTION: A storage device 100 mounted on a rack includes: batteries 140 that are located on front surface sides of power supplies 130 and supply power during backup operation; drive mounting parts 110 that are located on the front surface sides than the batteries and mount drives 111; a mid-plane 150 that is located between the batteries 140 and the drive mounting parts 110 and relays signal and power; and sub mid-planes 160 that are located between the mid-plane 150 and the batteries 140 and relay signals and power from the power supplies 130 and the batteries 140. The storage device is configured so that bus bars 170 for supplying the power from the power supplies 130 are connected between the mid-plane 150 and the sub mid-planes 160, and an airflow path 201 capable of supplying cooling air to the batteries 140 is included without passing through the periphery of the drives 111 from inflow ports 200 formed on the front surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ストレージ装置のバッテリを適切に冷却できるようにする。【解決手段】ラックに搭載されるストレージ装置100において、電源130の前面側に配置され、バックアップ動作時の電力を供給するバッテリ140と、バッテリよりも前面側に配置され、ドライブ111を搭載するドライブ搭載部110と、バッテリ140とドライブ搭載部110との間に配置され、信号及び電力の中継を行うミッドプレーン150と、ミッドプレーン150とバッテリ140との間に配置され、電源130及びバッテリ140からの信号及び電力を中継するサブミッドプレーン160とを有し、ミッドプレーン150とサブミッドプレーン160との間は、電源130からの電力を供給するためのバスバー170が接続されており、前面に形成された吸気口200からドライブ111の周囲を介さずに、バッテリ140に冷却用の空気を供給可能な空気流路201を有するように構成する。【選択図】図3
