Zusammenfassung:To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of estimating cylinder internal inflow gas amount of the internal combustion engine more accurately compared to conventional cases.SOLUTION: A control device 110 for an internal combustion engine includes a mass flow flux calculation section F2, an opening area calculation section F3, an effective opening area calculation section F4 and a passage gas flow rate calculation section F5. The mass flow flux calculation section F2 calculates mass flow flux MF of gas passing through a throttle valve 125 on the basis of an upstream side gas temperature Tu, upstream side gas pressure Pu and downstream side gas pressure Pd of the throttle valve 125. The opening area calculation section F3 calculates an opening area A of the throttle valve 125 on the basis of an opening θ of the throttle valve 125. The effective opening area calculation section F4 calculates an effective opening area EA of the throttle valve 125 on the basis of the upstream side gas pressure Pu, the downstream side gas pressure Pd, the opening θ and the opening area A.
