To provide a connector of building materials that can simplify its structure, and the structure and method for connecting building materials using the connector.SOLUTION: A connector 10A for connecting two building materials arranged apart at a specified interval, such as a door frame 2 and an auxiliary member 8 on the wall side, is configured to include a foundation member 20 disposed on the door frame 2 and a connection member 21 which is long enough to extend from the foundation member 20 to the auxiliary member 8 side and is connected to the auxiliary member 8 by a binder 24. The connection member 21 includes a base part 21A disposed on the foundation member 20 and connection parts 21B, 21C extending from the base part 21A.
