Zusammenfassung:	To provide a meander control method and a meander control device for a metal belt, by which a motion between rolls of metal belts, which have a cross-section defective in shape, can be quantitatively calculated.SOLUTION: A meander control method for a metal belt 4, which controls meander of the metal belt 4 by using a steering roll device 31, in conveyance equipment 1 for conveying the metal belt 4 by means of a plurality of rolls 2, includes: performing a meander numerical simulation that calculates a motion of the metal belt 4 by using a generic function; and performing at least one of preliminary optimization of a control program used in meander control and compensation for information about meander control logic, by using the result of the meander numerical simulation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】形状不良断面を有する金属帯のロール間における運動を定量的に計算することができる、金属帯の蛇行制御方法及び蛇行制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】複数のロール２で金属帯４を搬送する搬送設備１において、ステアリングロール装置３１を用いて金属帯４の蛇行を制御する、金属帯４の蛇行制御方法であって、汎関数を用いて金属帯４の運動を計算する蛇行数値シミュレーションを行い、蛇行数値シミュレーションの結果を用いて、蛇行の制御に用いられる制御プログラムの事前最適化及び蛇行制御ロジックの情報補償の少なくとも一方を行う。【選択図】図１
