Zusammenfassung:To provide a technique by which seedlings can be produced in a shorter time, and furthermore can increase a germination rate of a spore body.SOLUTION: A method for producing a phaeophyceae seedling includes: a seed liquid preparation step in which first seed liquid including a female gametophyte of phaeophyceae and second seed liquid including a male gametophyte of phaeophyceae are prepared; a seed filament production step in which, by individually culturing the first seed liquid and the second seed liquid in the state in which the seed liquid are severally brought into contact with a filamentous substrate, a first seed filament to which the female gametophyte of phaeophyceae is attached and a second seed filament to which the male gametophyte of phaeophyceae is attached are obtained; and a seed filament contact step in which a female/male gametophyte-attached seed filament is obtained by bringing the first seed filament and the second seed filament into contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】より短い時間で種苗を作製でき、さらには、芽胞体の発芽率を高めることができる技術を提供する。【解決手段】褐藻類の雌性配偶体を含む第1の種液、及び褐藻類の雄性配偶体を含む第2の種液を準備する種液準備工程と、前記第1の種液、及び前記第2の種液を、それぞれ糸状基質と接触させた状態で別個に培養することで、褐藻類の雌性配偶体が付着された第1の種糸、及び褐藻類の雄性配偶体が付着された第2の種糸を得る種糸作製工程と、前記第1の種糸と、前記第2の種糸とを接触させることで雌雄配偶体付着種糸を得る種糸接触工程と、を含む、褐藻類の種苗製造方法を提供する。【選択図】なし
