Zusammenfassung: | To provide a connector capable of achieving both of an excellent shield performance and an improvement in productivity.SOLUTION: A connector 1 comprises: a cylindrical terminal 30 electrically connected to a cylindrical mating side terminal 90; and a housing 10 holding the cylindrical terminal 30. The cylindrical terminal 30 includes a contact part 36 defined by contact of one edge part with the other edge part by curving a plate-like conductor 30a in a cylinder shape. The one edge part has a shape which is reduced in thickness so as to be concaved at an end terminal of a circumferential direction to an outward direction in a radial direction. The other edge part has a shape which is reduced in thickness so as to be concaved at the end terminal of the circumferential direction. The contact part 36 is structured so that a thickness-reduced portion 34 at the one edge part and a thickness-reduced portion 35 at the other edge part are overlapped in the radial direction. The thickness-reduced portion 34 at the one edge part and the thickness-reduced portion 35 at the other edge part are pressed against each other in the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】優れたシールド性能と生産性の向上とを両立可能なコネクタを提供すること。【解決手段】コネクタ1は、筒状の相手側端子90と電気的に接続される筒状端子30と、筒状端子30を保持するハウジング10と、を備える。筒状端子30は、板状の導体30aが筒状に湾曲されて一の縁部と他の縁部とが当接されることによって画成される当接部36を有する。一の縁部は、周方向の末端が径方向外向きに窪むように減厚された形状を有し、他の縁部は、周方向の末端が径方向内向きに窪むように減厚された形状を有する。当接部36は、一の縁部の減厚箇所34と他の縁部の減厚箇所35とが径方向において重なり合うように、構成される。一の縁部の減厚箇所34と、他の縁部の減厚箇所35と、は周方向において互いに押し付け合っている。【選択図】図6 |
