Zusammenfassung: | To make it possible to accurately detect a decrease in a driving ability of a driver.SOLUTION: A driving ability deterioration detection device is comprised of: an image pickup unit provided in a vehicle, which continuously captures an image of an outside of the vehicle while the vehicle is running; a vehicle behavior detection unit which is installed in the vehicle and detects vehicle behavior including a speed reduction of the vehicle; an event information acquisition unit that extracts an event including a change in a color of a signal based on the image and acquires an event occurrence time, which is a time when an event has occurred, and the number of events, which is a number of the events that have occurred at the same time; an action information acquisition unit that acquires an action time, which is a time when a driver of the vehicle performs an action on the vehicle based on the vehicle behavior; a time difference acquisition unit that acquires a time lag, which is a time difference between an event occurrence and a driver's action based on the event occurrence time and the action time; and a correlation acquisition unit that obtains a correlation coefficient between the number of events and the time lag based on the number of events and the time lag.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
