Zusammenfassung: | To provide a constant velocity joint comprising a pressure-insertion ring which is favorable in assemblability and sealability.SOLUTION: A constant velocity joint 2 comprises an outer ring 10 having an opening 11 at axial one end side, and a shaft portion 12 at axial the other end side, and the shaft portion 12 is connected to a differential gear DF of a vehicle. The constant velocity joint 2 has a pressure-insertion ring 40 which comes in sliding contact with an oil seal S of the differential gear DF while the ring 40 is press-fitted into the shaft portion 12. The pressure-insertion ring 40 has a carburized/quenched region R2 in which an external peripheral portion 42 coming in slide contact with the oil seal S is carburized/quenched, and also has a non-carburized/quenched region R1 in which an internal peripheral portion 41 press-fitted into the shaft portion 12 is not quenched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
