Zusammenfassung:To enable processing of each article with the smaller number of processing devices than the number of articles transferred to a second conveyance conveyor from a first conveyance conveyor.SOLUTION: An article processing system 10 includes: a first conveyance conveyor 12 for conveying a container M; a processing device 18 for performing predetermined processing on the container M at a processing position P; a second conveyance conveyor 14 for conveying the container M to which the predetermined processing has been finished; and a robot 16 for transferring the predetermined number of containers M on the first conveyance conveyor 12 to the processing position P while holding the containers M in series. The processing device 18 is moved in a column direction of the container M held at the processing position P, and performs the predetermined processing on each of the predetermined number of containers M.
