Zusammenfassung:	To provide a technology capable of suppressing luminance unevenness of an area illuminated by a light source, and also deteriorating contrast between areas due to the light flux of the area made incident into another area.SOLUTION: A light guide plate comprises: a divergence unit provided on the opposite side of a light emission surface that emits light and diverging light flux emitted from a light emitting element; and a limitation unit that with a predetermined range from the light emitting element on the light emission surface defined as an illumination area of the light emitting element, deflects or shields light from the inside to the outside of an illumination area to at least the edge of the illumination area on the light emission surface, to limit the light toward the outside of the illumination area toward the light emission surface side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】光源によって照明するエリアの輝度ムラを抑制すると共に、当該エリアの光束が他のエリアに入射してエリア間のコントラストが低下することを抑制する技術を提供する。【解決手段】導光板が、光を出射する出光面の反対側に設けられ、発光素子から出射される光束を発散させる発散部と、前記出光面において前記発光素子から所定の範囲を当該発光素子による照明エリアとし、少なくとも前記出光面における前記照明エリアの辺縁に、前記照明エリアの内側から外側へ向かう光を偏向又は遮光して、前記照明エリアの外側へ向かう光が前記出光面側へ向かうことを制限する制限部とを備える。【選択図】図１
