BALL POINT PEN

To provide a ball point pen which enables writing with a fine line width or a thick line width according to user's preferences and enables writing with a stable line width regardless of a writing angle.SOLUTION: A ball point pen includes: a barrel; a chip holder housed within the barrel; a chip which is attached to the chip holder in such a way so as to be movable forward and rearward; a ball held at a front end of the chip; an ink storage part cylinder which is disposed rearward of the chip and stores an ink; an outer cylindrical body which may move in an axial direction relative to the chip holder and tilt in the axial direction of the chip; a first bouncing member which bounces the outer cylindrical body forward when the outer cylindrical body is moved rearward relative to the chip holder; and a second bouncing member which is disposed rearward of the chip and bounces the chip forward.
